History:
Bodega Matarromera was founded in 1988 by Carlos Moro in Valbuena de Duero, Valladolid, Spain. The winery is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, one of Spain's most prestigious wine regions.
Vineyards:
Bodega Matarromera owns 200 hectares of its own vineyards, located in the best areas of Ribera del Duero. The vineyards are planted with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec grape varieties.
Production:
Bodega Matarromera produces a wide range of red, white, rosé and sweet wines. Its wines are known for their quality, fruit character and value for money.

Nose: It is direct and very complex, with a very good concentration of varietal aromas of ripe black fruit from the blackberry range, with balsamic touches of aromatic plants such as lavender and soft eucalyptus, among other aromas from its aging in barrels such as new leather, Tabaco Rubio and Soft Cacao.
Palate: Good structure with black fruit of myrtle, blueberry, tobacco, leather and also liquorice and soft roasts, with a long, elegant and very persistent finish.
