The Bodeguilla estate, located in Valdestillas (Valladolid) has several varieties of white grapes planted. One of them is Sauvignon Blanc, one of the most used for the production of white wines all over the world. Planted on trellises and at an altitude of around 740 metres above sea level, this plot has a sandy texture that makes it ideal for this type of grape variety. La Buitrera, in Pozaldez, is also planted on trellises although, in this case, the altitude at which it is planted is at the altitude at which it is located is higher, providing the blend with its own the Sauvignon coupage of this wine.
