History:
Bodega Pago de Carraovejas was founded in 1987 by José María Ruiz and Conchi Aragón, pioneering the production of pago wines in Spain. The winery is located in Peñafiel, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.

Pago de Carraovejas owns 120 hectares of its own vineyards, located in the "Pago de Carraovejas" estate, a unique enclave with exceptional characteristics. The vineyards are planted with the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grape variety.
