History:

Bodegas Martín Codax is a wine cooperative founded in 1972 by a group of winegrowers from Cambados, Rías Baixas, Galicia. It has become one of the most important wineries in the region, known for its white wines made from the Albariño grape.

Vineyards:

The winery has more than 350 hectares of its own vineyards, distributed in the best sub-zones of Rías Baixas, such as Salnés, O Rosal and Condado do Tea. These vineyards are characterised by their granitic soil and the influence of the Atlantic Sea.

Production:

Their main production is white wines, mainly made with the Albariño variety, although they also produce red and sparkling wines. They are known for their freshness, minerality and fruity character.
